I'm a professional dog-walker. My husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary. I had a beautiful head of thick curls until February 2007, and now I have AU. I highly recommend getting permanent make-up eyebrows. I recently rode the Behemoth at Wonderland with my wig glued to my head using Mighty Tite, and it stayed on! I'm considering getting a Freedom Wig, so I can go swimming and camping with my step-sons without feeling self-conscious.
Hi Ali, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us. Cheryl, co-founder
Hi Ali,
I have au too -- for about 20 years. How are you doing today? I just wanted to say hello. What is Mighty Tite, and where do you get it?

Hi Ali,
I'm new to aleopecia world and I wanted to totally agree with you about hte permanent makeup eyebrows. It's changed my life! It sounds more painful than it actually is and I think it's totally worth it. I did the eyeliner too, but found that too painful and wouldn't do it again. You gave me inspriation when I read that you went on that ride at Wonderland and your wig stayed on. Most rides make me nausious so I don't go on them, but the thought of my wig flying off....wow that's too much for me to even consider. I appreciate your experience. Thank you.
