I have read your blog with interest. I too have tried the natural route spent over £500 at a Trichologist drinking pure aloe vera, having ultra-heat and a "pins & needles" treatment to my head all to no avail only my bank balance! My hair started falling out in September 2008, very slowly, every day, one small patch that got bigger and bigger then loads more small patches started to appear that have now all blended into one. I am now very nearly AT. Delayed reaction to 7 years of stress has been blamed - not sure last year a good year so why didn't it fall out during the 7 years of stress?!? Or, a surge of hormone from a contraception implant - who knows. I'm stuck with it and need to get on with it. Recently started yogo (dumped the Trichologist couldn't continue forking out the money), see a reflexologist and have had training in "Emotional Freedom Therapy" which basically relaxes/de-stresses you (I am now severely stressed due to AT!). Maybe some of these ideas may help you oh, I also drink more water, only one coffee per day and now drink green tea. What more can you do? Hope these suggestions help you.
