Hi and welcome. I'm new to this site too and glad I found it. I had AA which then progressed to AU during my teen years. Feel free to ask me anything you want.
hi! yes is would love to add you!
you know what is weird... i just clicked on your profile and it said you left a comment for me 7 seconds ago.. weird....
I went from AA to AU in just a few months in 7th grade. It was hard to adjust but I too had good friends to support me and stick up for me. It sounds like you do too. Message me anytime.
By the way...I wore a hat all of 7th and 8th grade and my teachers were fine with it. My mom told the school why I would be wearing it and they were all supportive.
Hello and welcome!
I know how hard alopecia can be. I have universalis, and have had alopecia for about 30 years. I also have athsma! After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. You can find out more on my page -- and let me know if there's anything else I can do!

Aloha, this is Aja-Dre's mom Darnelle. I am so happy that she finally listen to me and took the time out to check out this site. I wanted her to give her self a chance to know that she is not the only one that is going thru this, and that there are many others out there with different types of alopecia. Thank you for welcoming my daughter and having her be a part of AA family.. Mahalo (thank you) from Honolulu, Hawaii. Darnelle Eliazar
