Thanks for the warm welcome Leslie Ann! It's pretty life-changing to meet people who are going through the same thing that I am going through. Right now, I am working on overcoming my fear that men will no longer consider me an attractive and desirable person because I don't have any hair. I love myself, but the idea that I might have to give up the idea of marriage and a family because of my alopecia feels hideous and unfair. I know, I know that I'm probably blowing this out of proportion, but as another AAWorld member said, sometimes you feel as if you're on an emotional roller coaster.

What I'm very proud of is that I'm on Match.com right now, and after literally scraping every iota of my guts and courage together, I finally posted pictures of myself bald on Match.com. When I get stronger, I am going to change out my main picture on Match, and replace the main picture with me, bald. Whoo hoo! I'm getting closer...

If you had any thoughts or advice about living single with alopecia, I'd appreciate it. Until then, it's nice to meet you :)

Thank you so much for the nice comment. I love my head!!! I show it off every chance I get and when I do, I get to educate people on Alopecia. Welcome to Alopecia World. And, honestly Heather, you are absolutely gorgeous and will have no problem meeting "Mr. Right." I promise they are out there, I met my hubby when I was completely bald!! There are really men out there that aren't superficial. Don't ever give up my dear. I'm here any time you need to chat. Where are your pics taken? They are gorgeous!!! I hope the rest of your Labor Day weekend is as great as you are!!!

Well, technically I am not an artist, I am a fanartist, it means I usually make fanarts of my favourite Japanese anime. Those fanarts are meant to be just fanwork, and aren't for sale, because there are copyrights on the original animation. Fanwork is tolerated as soon as people doesn't make money out of it. In the case of my avatar it is not after any already existent character, it is just "in that style". Anyway, some of my fanarts are here If you like something you may pick it for your personal use, as a wallpaper, etc...
