Hi jbkny, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us and we look forward to your input. Cheryl, co-founder
Thanks for the message... I think I am a bit biased because I like the way a shaved head looks on a man!! I even liked it when I had my shaved head although I did struggle sometimes with feeling feminine. Sometimes hair falls out after things that pull on the hair like braids and when girls have extensions - called traction alopecia - did you lose all your hair or patchy?
I had a nice day today as it was the first day of my art class, which I am taking once a week and next week I am going to London for an intensive German course.
Aww thanks. The body is amazing and can heal itself so you never know it might grow back just fine, but I think that with hairloss you have to find the innner peace and acceptance to be able to live happily with or without hair as you never know if it is going to grow back and you can't live your life in constant limbo waiting!
Well I love museums, especially anything to do with ancient history. Art galleries it depends on what is on show. I live about an hour away from London and I went to university there so I was pretty lucky - it is VERY cool. I love the cosmopolitan atmosphere, the hustle and bustle... the vibe, but I live in the country and I love that too... the constrast! I love nature and the greenery where I live... so peaceful and good for the soul.
Hey thanks for the graphic you sent - that's so cute and cheered me up. It's raining so hard here and dark... winter is coming. I love the sun and warmth *boohoo*. How are you doing? Anything new with you? I am just ordering products as I am soon going to be receiving my first custom full lace wig. Exciting, but expensive.
