hey, this is my first time trying to meet people that might go through the same thing i do. I realy dont have any hobbys Im a home body. I used to play sports my favorite was soccer, I enjoy watching football my team is the 49ers. I just got a puppy a female pit bull I think there just the best dogs. I went to college for a while I took a bunch of manufacturing courses. I've had differnt jobs in that area but I'm currently an electician apprentice for a food proccesing company, I work the third shift witch took some getting use too. well I guess I better stop there/
I've been brousin around other peoples pages and read there aa stories so heres mine I got my aa when i was 15. I woke up and there was hair all over my pillow when I went to the doctor he accused me of pulling out my own hair. about half of my hair fell out of the top of my head before I went to see a speacialist I've been getting ejections once a month since then all of my hair pretty much grew back on my head. I continue to have patches that come and go. I lost my mustash completly which dosen't bother me but my eyebrows are almost completley gone right now and that bothers me every now and then but I deal whith it. If you have any questions or you could relate let me know
Hey Jay! Thanks for the comment. You'll find this place is super easy to be open, and deal with all your feelings. People are very accepting here. It's made it so much easier for me to deal with this. This is a lifelong journey we're dealing with, and you'll find amazing people here, to walk it with you. I hope you have a great time on this site, like I do. Im always here if you need to talk. Take Care Hun
Hey Jay,
That is much like my experience with alopecia, my family and i were very surprised and confused at the random bald spots on my head. It was extremely hard and i was angry for months when i first found out. "why me?" was a question that always ran vividly through my mind. But it has almost seem to help me. I think i found the source to my problems with alopecia it was the fact that i was always stressed and paranoid about things, when i began seeing a councilor and put a end to the constant worries my alopecia has slowly but surely began to go away. I am also seeing a natural path. I cant really be quite sure which of these two things has helped me the most with my alopecia but i have alot of faith that i aswell as others can fight it. IF not we can conquer the sad feelings we have had do to alopecia and try to make them positive. I believe alopecia has all in all made me a better person. Sorry about the rant haha.
talk to you soon hopefully

Hi Jay, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alopecia World. I have been living with Alopecia Areata since 1991 and know full well the struggle it can be. I look forward to getting to know you. Cheryl, Co-founder
I agree. I don't know anyone in person who has AA and this is really the first time I've had the opportunity to relate with others about it. I'm really enjoying it.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I havent come on here since I signed up but now that my condition is getting worse, I thought some support would be nice. How are you?
