My hair is very thin right now. Am sure in the future i'll be getting a wig, but right now am doing ok without one. Am bald on the top and my left side is very thin now but my right side is doing as well as it can be. I do have more hair (still thin tho) but comming in on the right side and near the top than my left side is. Its also turning to my orginal color also.
Am 56 and married. My husband does gives me the support that i need. He still loves me with hair or without.
I have 3 grown adult children and i also have 3 grandgirls tha I love so much.
Hi Deborah, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us. Cheryl, Co-Founder
Hello and welcome, Deborah!
I know how hard alopecia can be; I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!) It has a lot of good info in it, it can answer many questions, and it's a fun read, too. You can find out more on my page. It's available on Amazon.com, and on this site under "Bookshelf."
Let me know if there's anything else I can do! I am here to help.
