Welcome to Alopecia World Marie! I have had alopecia for 30 years and I'm from Guelph which is west of Toronto. If you ever need to chat, I'm usually around. :)
Hi Marie, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us and we look forward to your input. Cheryl, co-founder
Yes, I went through all sorts of stuff to see if it was something else or something I could do, but there just wasn't. I tried everything! So,
I know how hard it can be. Have you heard about my book? It might help you! After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.

Hi Marie, I know this condition takes a LOT of adjusting and it is very hard to accept. But give yourself some time. I know that NAAF has been funding research and you can find out more on their findings on their website here.

How are you today? I just wanted to say hello and welcome!
