I have been diagnosed with Alopecia areata for 20 years. I am ready to talk about it. I am ready to connect with others i am ready for healing, friendships, contentment, I am ready for my soul to breath. Being a Highly sensitive person makes alopecia unbearable sometimes. The world can be cruel but i am determined to make the best out of it.
Cheers
Hello and welcome, Authentique!
I know how hard alopecia can be, particularly if you are a highly sensitive person! I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!) It has a lot of good info in it, it can answer many questions, and it's a fun read, too. You can find out more on my page. It's available on Amazon.com.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do! I am here to help.
