I have alopecia areata "a la beard" since fall 2008. It starting on little circle on my neck, but now the hair is "sort of" growing there again. Now it's obviously creeping up my chin and is somewhat patchy all over my beard. :)

    Hi Mark Nice to meet you, I know is frustrating in Oct 08 I found my 2 Spots and I was freaking out by the end of November I was bald. in Dec 31 08 I was diagnosed with A.A now I'm getting injections and the cream. and my hair is growing so far I hope it stays. you have to have faith give it a chance to work. when I join this site my ways of thinking change.I take it one day at a time and yes it sucks.
