My breakthrough came with a beautiful tattoo on my head that I love to show off. So I have stopped wearing wigs/hats every time I go out and have gotten really comfortable with showing my "true side."

I'm sure Northern CA is beautiful. Hope you enjoy the desert too. It's not green, but it has its own beauty. And the weather is perfect 9 months out of the year. You are lucky - we are actually having a spring this year. Last year it went from our winter temps basically right into over 100 degrees. No inbetween with the 70's and 80's. Do you have family you left behind in CA? I am here because of my parents - they moved here in 1998 and I moved here in 2001.

Aren't we having fantastic weather right now?! Enjoy it while it lasts! The heat is coming, and it's brutal. So how are you adjusting so far to Phoenix? I hope well. It really is a great place to live. You are such an ispiration to me. I am still not brave enough to go out bald. I know I will one day, though. My husband encourages me to do it. He says,"Why not! Go for it! You look good bald." He's so sweet, but he's not the bald one! lol! But he knows how I feel and he is very understanding about it. He's great. Well, I will see you at Starbuck's! Hey Kate,
Hope you are feeling better! The meeting went good on the 17th, we all learned tricks from each other. I'm going to try and post my next "How-To" on the Alopecia Diva site because it's easier to post there with photos. My plan is to do a get-together for the Diva's at least once every season if not more. Will keep you posted.
