About Me:: I've had alopecia universalis since 2007 and I've finally come to accept this is me now and I won't let alopecia hold me back from true happiness. I mean I do have those days when I say to myself "why me, why me", but those days come and go. I have a very supportive family and the support of my friends who help me through the tough times. I'm also very grateful for this website. I've met some wonderful people here who truly inspire me.

yes - the bobbi brown eyeliner works better than the liquid. i am not very good at the liquid, and it ends up smearing all over my face by the end of the day. the bobbi brown eyeliner stays put. at the end of the day, it looks like i just put it on. its amazing. i definitely recommend it..

Hello Marisol, I came across your profile through the Chicago connection and saw that you are from Plainfield. I am in Lombard so we are not all that far apart. I have had au since I was 5 (now 42). I also went through a very painful time when my father past away, although that has been over ten years ago. He was my best friend and it hurt. Its so funny though how much he shows up in my dreams. Hey how are ya..I lost my hair around 2 years after my dad passed ,and then i was going threw work stress ...wife stress....kids stress and etc..etc..etc,,,lol then i had a pattern of hair loss in back of my head and then i shaved it in 07 , and was being asked if i had cancer to many times...can you believe in some of these people, so i got out the old bic and went bald to find it wasnt comeing back and then lost the brows and so forth ...i do have a thyroid condition that im trying to see if more people i talk to might have this , i have talk to around 5 people already that have thyroid condition and have alopecia so.............i dont know maybe something connected.(welp im talking or writing to much ) lol but it is good to let it out sometimes ...welp i hope to talk with ya soon .....GLEN
