Hey ashley :) hope your having a great day! I was diagnosed with alopecia when I was 6, so dont worry honey I have a sense of what your going through, and believe me it gets easier! I never thought that I would walk around bald, but now I hardly ever wear hats/wigs/scarfs. Keep your chin up sweetie, any questions you have, or just want to chat, go for it :) Take Care, Liz x

My son, Jon-13, has had Alopecia since he was 6. He has not coped that well with it over the time he has had it. He has never met anyone else with AA.

You're the cutest thing on the planet.
    Just sayin'
    You're actually so gorgeous.

    Hey Ashley
Just want to say that I think you are very special and I know it is hard to ignore people when they are not nice to you. I hope and pray that you will grow in strength and ignore those people.
I am glad that you are going to a therapist. Jon had a bad time last year. He just removed himself from everything and everyone. He started seeing a therapist and it has made a big difference. He is getting involved with people again and going to school.
You don't need people who are going to bring you down - that goes for all of us whether we have Alopecia or not.
I am here for you anytime....
And I agree with Erika - you are gorgeous - wish you could see it!!!
