About Me: I am a happy, confident mother of two beautiful children. I am in a relationship with a wonderful man who accepts me for me, just as I am.
Have had alopecia areata (though, the only hair that grows on me period, is a few patches on my head and one or two eyelashes here and there on occasion!!) for 12 years and counting! It has never really been a big struggle for me - I have learned to live and be happy.
Life is short and as far as I am concerned, there is no time to live in despair - I have embraced Alopecia and it is a part of me, as I am a part of it. I am whole - and I couldn't imagine it any other way.
I look forward to meeting some new friends through this great site - sharing is one of the keys to confidence and happiness when going through life changes.
