I've had AA for 25 yrs which developed onto AT and AU over the past 10yrs. My body can't make up its mind which look it prefers more, so it bounces between the two, much to my confusion!!
I learnt a long time ago that it is just one of those things that we must learn to cope with and not let it dominate our lives. Easy to say I know, but time, inner strength and good friends really do have a way of helping us cope with all that is thrown at us! I reached acceptance of that some time ago, and now actually celebrate the way it makes me different.
Life really does go on, and I am, and intend to continue enjoying life to the full!!
Yeah, I know...God must have big plans for me. I just wish I could get out of this slump. The pain, the shedding, etc. I have just started some new vitamins and sticking to my diet better hoping for a change. But nothing yet. I also stopped the Humira for my AS because of complications. I have a rheumy appt tomorrow with the dr who told me my hairloss was just cosmetic....fun, fun....Thanks for the kind words. You are a beauty!
