About Me:
My name is Rob and I too have Alopecia, since I was 12 years old. When I was at the hairdresser with my mom and my brother, the woman noticed a small circular shaped bald spot at the back of my head. I don't remember everything, but I know my loss of hair went really fast since then. My mom noticed my hair got thinner, and that my pillow was soaked with blond hairs, ending up with me having no hair whatsoever on my entire body. I am now 23 and I shave my head every day, as I don't like the the little amount of hair that actually grows there.

I just found out about this community, and I am very enthusiastic to get to know people and their stories.

    Oke.
    Ik heb nog een beetje een dubbel gevoel bij co-schappen, lijkt me leuk, maar ook heel intensief;)

    Ja het is lastig soms, vind het vooral vaag als een wildvreemde iets zegt of raar kijkt.... omdat ik dan zoiets heb van je kent me niet dus doe dan ook niet zo raar...
    Het heeft meerdere kanten vind ik, het is niet alleen dat ik me soms beoordeeld voel op mijn uiterlijk, maar ook dat ik het mis. Ik heb nu 13 jaar AA, maar mis mn oude bos haar wel. Zeker omdat je nu juist in een leeftijdscategorie zit waarin uiterlijk heel erg belangrijk is. Niet dat het met 40 jaar niet erg is om het te hebben, maar misschien wel anders. maargoed dat kan ik ook niet met zekerheid zeggen;)
