I'm relatively new to Alopecia World, but I live in Chicago and was browsing the Chicago group page. I noticed that you posted recently about a group trip to a permanent makeup place in Aurora. I have AU and would really love to get my eyebrows done. I was hoping you could pass on a bit of information about Skin of a Different Color. Did you get your eyebrows done there? They look great!

Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me about your experience. As I'm sure you can understand, I'm a bit nervous and am trying to do as much research before hand as I possibly can. I have an appointment with Jeff Segal for a week from today. I met with him a couple of days ago and feel pretty comfortable with him. If for some reason it doesn't work out, I'll have to look into the person that you're using. Your brows look great!!!

Of course you can share my poem with others. I sat down and started writing and it honestly only took me two hours to write it. I'm sure it was because it is something I am passionate about and tells pretty much my whole journey. It's been posted in a few newsletters and magazines.

I would like to try the acid treatment. I have to get that doctors info from either Kathy or Jessica. Have you ever tried it?? I need to look into side effects though. So how is the new job? I bet that is such a relief. What a good start to a new year. I hope you are enjoying it. I will be free next Sat if you would like to go then to the hair salon. Do I need to call over there and tell them we are coming?

Sorry, I am so late getting back to you but I wanted to know how the Holiday Party went. I have been in school and doing volunteer work which keeps me quite busy along with having a husband and a teenager with special needs. I also don't know if I stated I wear human hair lace wigs which are reasonable, but still no hair stylist with privacy. Let me know the hair stylist with privacy and about the Hoiday Party. It is really good i just got out for the summer 2 weeks ago, So i am happy. I have AA and at school people and my friends they act i have hair they have my back, lol. Sometimes when the wind is blowing outside and my friends at school say their hair got missed up by the wind, I always say "Mine To"... We joke about it. I am 13 and in the 8 grade and i have had AA since i was 3.

I saw that you posted somewhere about an alternative vacuum wig maker in Oakbrook, and I'd love to hear more about them. Are the costs similar to freedom wigs? How about the turn-around time?
