Hey Carlos! Alopecia cannot be "transmitted" to our children like a flu or virus. The "gene" could be passed on that makes them susceptible to alopecia or other autoimmune diseases. I believe that if you have children while you are young in life then the children will be healthier than if you wait till your over ....say 35 or 40 yrs old.

No NOT "probably". Just a little bit more of a chance than say someone who does not have any family history of alopeica. Alopecia can hit anyone...anytime.
I have two kids and neither have alopeica....and I thank God for that every single day of my life.
