About Me:
I am 25 years old. I developed AA in 2009. And shortly after that, it developed into AU. I don't think I ever really processed it. By the end of 2012, my hair started growing back. But has begun falling out again. It's exhausting. But I'm doing my best to get through each day. And most days I simply 'act as if' I'm okay with it. I think it's important to find others to reach out to, because I have found the best way to cope with things is to be with others who have experienced what I'm going through.

My hope is to get to a place where I'll be okay no matter what.

    Are you having a difficult time? I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!)     I am sorry your still having a rough time. I wish I could say that it wont happen again but bad days still come now and again but not as often, which is a good thing. That's why we are all here to vent and help one another through the bad days. This site has really got me through some bad times.
    I've been going through this for a few yrs now, and i can say it will get better. Some people will go in remission so don't give up hope. My mom had a very large bald spot twice 6 yrs ago and hasn't had it again. Another friend of mine well all her hair fell out and grew back so keep the faith. I know it sucks but chin up...
