Thsnks for the Friend request, and welcome to Alopecia World! Yes, that's me on the TV interview. They came to my folk dance class, as well as doing a home interview.

Hi Lisa, yes you are just down the road from me. The last time I was in Belladonna's was late April/early May. Did the lady tell you who owns Belladonna's that her hair has started coming back after taking biotin? She shared this with me my last visit. She said it does take 8/9 months for growth. Well naturally the first stop I made on my way home was to purchase Biotin. So far, I haven't seen any results, but then she said it would be about December before I would notice any new growth. How's that for a Christmas gift???? The wig I am wearing in my picture is Tyler by Rene of Paris. The color is Spring Honey. I just wish it were a monofilament; I think they look more realistic. The ones I tend to wear now are Gala by Gabor in the Praline Mist and Voltage by Raquel Welch and I can't remember the exact color it is. Another favorite of mine is the Sandie by Noriko or Rene of Paris--I get more compliments on it than any other, but it is longer and I tend to wear it more in the fall and winter months. None of these are monofilaments--I just wish they would make more monofilaments. I know they are more expensive, but I think they are worth the price. What are your favorite wigs?

Thanks for the tip about Lori's website. I've ordered quite a few wigs on Ebay. I'm not familiar with Summer, but will look it up. Since I'm older, I just tend to think I need to stay with shorter wigs. Welcome to this website and thanks for being my friend.

Lisa, thanks for the nice comments!
Yes, I love living in Portland. Right now it's 95 degrees, so a little hot for me! But it's supposed to cool down within a day or two. Hey, I'm glad you are thinking about getting my book! Please let me know how you like it, okay?
    Hugs!
