About Me:: Hi my name's Katrina and I have alopecia areata. This is the second time in my life that I've had it. I first got alopecia totalis when I was 10 years old and had it until I was 15, when all my hair grew back. When I was 26 my hair fell out again, except for a few patches. I wear a wig most of the time, but sometimes take it off. I believe having alopecia gives you just as many benefits as it does difficulties.
