I've had this condition from a very young age. It has been completely under control for 17+ years, but for some reason it has been misbehaving since October of 2011. I am now bald, something I have never been before. I have also lost my eyebrows and eyelashes quickly, and without warning. Essentially, in a matter of a month. Due to this shock I started my Skin For Hair blog in January 2012.

    Thanks for the message. I am in an interesting place. I am playing with scarves, hats, and the potential of hair extensions and wigs....but undecided. I think I found some scarf looks that I can rock, but I'd love advice on hair extensions as well...really advice on anything AA would be great if I'm being transparent. Thanks for reaching out.

    Hi Nina,
    I'm figuring out what makes me comfortable. I have had pretty nice hair so I haven't fussed much with it and would just get up and go....party's over. It is a positive though bc now I am paying more attn to my style and it has been fun. But...hair extensions. Did you cut them? Make your own? Have to style them every day? Do they sell extensions with curly hair or do I have to style them everyday? I'll stop with the rapid fire questions, but your help is so appreciated. You have the perfect face for bald by the way...love the pic.
