About Me

I'm 32 and found out about alopecia when my hair recently began to fall out in patches...It has rapidly taken over and I am about 70% bald. As many have, I decided to shave my head a month ago since it had become so hard to hide. I had never experienced any hair loss prior to this, so it was a hard pill to swallow but is becoming easier to deal with. As a man, I feel it's not a big deal having a bald head although I would rather sport a "crisp fade" again, lol! (this must be harder for women suffering from alopecia but don't let that stop you!) I know it's not the end of the world and things could "always be worse", so I attempt to maintain a positive attitude, enjoying life and so should you! I hope to share my story, give support, spread the word and connect with others suffering from alopecia.
