I'm a high school science teacher and LOVE the summer! I've had alopecia since 1991. For years it was alopecia areata but as of the last four years it progressed to universalis.

    Alopecians in Michigan will celebrate International Alopecia Day (August 6th, 2011) with a late lunch at T.G.I Fridays in Livonia. We will be meeting at 3 PM.

    I used to live in Michigan too. I worked in Farmington Hills at a State Farm agency. What a small world. Thanks for the friend request and I wish I could attend that luncheon at TGI Fridays on the 6th. I'll have to look you up when I go for a visit.
