About Me:: Hi yall just found out about this site. I am 30 years old and noticed my first patch a month ago while drying my hair, went to the dr a week or so later and was dx with alopecia areata.Ive tried cortisone cream right now, but it just burns and I don't see regrowth. My first path is at the crown of my head, so its hard to cover so ive been wearing hats lots of hats. My big issue besides the hair loss is the burning like my hair is being ripped out, or burnt like a chemical straightener, im a curly hair girl so I know that all to well, but I stopped abiut 2 years ago maybe ...My dr seems to look at me like im crazy when I mention the burning ...any of yall have that issue.?
