Hi Janeybugs. I live I stl too. My alopecia symptoms are terrible right now. I am considering a hair piece for the first time in 15 years. I hate this mess on top of my head. I had my hair highlighted in May and now the gray is coming back in sparsely, frizzy and fine. Do you wear a wig or piece? Where did you get it? Where do you get your hair done?

Hi Janet! I was so happy to see your reply. This mess has been getting me so down this summer. I am looking so forward to fall so I can have an excuse to wear a hat and more makeup. St. Louis summers are so humid. I would like to meet for lunch too. I live off Tesson ferry or highway 21. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary. My husband is understanding but I am sure that he would like it if I didn't have this problem. I tend to whine a little too much. I have 2 girls ages 23 and 16. I also had 4 miscarriages. My oldest got married last summer and I looked awful in the pictures. I really should have pursued professional help with hair and makeup. Anyway the wedding wasn't about me anyway.
Do you work outside of the home? I quit teaching when my 23 year old was born. My salary then was just a little over what I would have to pay for infant care. I never went back. I kept busy with carpool and family. I will do something once my youngest gets her license.
