About Me:: I was diagnosed with AA when I was only two years old. When I hit third grade, we realized it was time for my first wig. As devastating as it was we knew I had no other choice because I was sick of being bullied at school. From third grade until almost 11th grade I wore a wig. My hair ended up coming back and staying (for the most part) up until about three months ago. I now have lost almost 85% of my hair and am having an extremely hard time coping with this considering I am only 23 and have my entire life ahead of me still. I joined this website looking for more of an understanding as well as support from others who suffer with the same auto-immune disease I do.
