I'm a Mum and Grandmother from the UK, I have had Generalised thinning since the age of 20 when I was pregnant with my third child, at that time I and the Doctors thought it was simply the pregnancy that caused it, at the age of 35 it was very noticeable to everyone that I had a big problem up until that time I was able to disguise it quite well, but then life gets up and kicks you in the A*se haha, ive had to learn to live with this and now wear wigs, which I find extremely expensive, I search the net for reputable suppliers that don't take advantage of people like me but that's a real dodgy area too right ? looking for advice from others in my situation, so if you can share a supplier that you yourself trust then I would be soooooo very happy to hear from you and about your experiences too.
Hi Janet nice to hear from you hope you are well. I too am a mum and nana to Millie. My partner of 12 years Roy has been very supportive throughout. It only took 6months for my hair to fall out. I am now bald with no facial or body hair. I have had my eyebrows tattooed and I am now thinking about eyeliner on the top lid. The specialist cannot tell me the cause or if my hair will ever grow back. I can come to my own conclusions as to the whys and when's. With regards to the wigs I ordered quite a few wigs online before receiving the voucher for 4 free wigs per year from the NHS. It took me a while to pluck up the courage to go to one of the suppliers but when I did I managed to choose 2. I now only really wear one of the as the other when I came home to me looked wiggy lol. What style do you wear, colour etc X
