I was diagnosed with AA about 3 weeks ago, with a small patch behind my ear. Now my hairs looking very patchy, and a few small patches on my chin. Superb!

Think I'll being going for the shaved look very soon.

    Wow Simon! This is a real shock to see you here. How are you coping? It can be very hard to accept when first diagnosed, and at times when you look in the mirror and realise that it is getting worse.
    I found when I first had AA that a good sunburn on the bald patches helped stop them from getting any bigger and actually started some regrowth in these areas. This is because ultra violet light supresses the Immune system. Maybe mention Ultra Violet light therapy the next time you see your doctor.
