My dermatologist diagnosed my alopecia about 4 years ago. It was explained to me as a form of scleraderma known as morphea. Excess collagen smothers the hair follicle. I can't camouflage the front and side loss any longer. I'm searching for others who have gone through hair loss or who are currently dealing with hair loss

    Thanks for beinng my friend, I am currently going throu hair loss right noow I have patches and a lot of thinning in the top of my head,I wear hats and use black hair spray on my spots the only problem is I have black dye on everything I put my head on and its kind of embarrising because I dont like sitting on peples couch because of the dye and I stay at home for the most part, been looking for a wig but dont want to try one on at the store because people be looking. the only problem with the hats is I live in Arizona.
