About Me:
Just trying to learn more. My hair has been thinning for the last few years now... to the point where I don't feel comfortable wearing it down anymore. I'm not losing a lot at any given time... it just seems gradual. My doctor did all the blood tests and I've used shampoos and topical steroids...etc... but she can't figure out what's going on. If I eventually lose all of my hair... I'm ok with that, I just want to make sure everything else is ok on the inside!! It's frustrating, and I have my down moments... but it's just hair.
Do you have alopecia?
Other type of alopecia
Are you age 18 or older?

    Hi Alison,
I can totally relate - I've had AA for awhile, but my whole head started thinning really badly about two years ago. I did a food sensitivity blood test and found that I was sensitive to a number of foods - coffee being the WORST! After changing my diet (and adding some supplements) to eliminating wheat/gluten and various other foods, my hair has grown back fully and I have no spots. Hope this helps!
