About Me:
I have suffered from Alopecia Areata for 22 years but have never lost all the hair on my head. At its worse about one third was patchy.

I have a 22 yr old son who has never known me with "proper" hair. Before I got this I had think, streight, auburn hair that I never truly apreciated - do we ever?

    I know how you feel. I had this lovely, thick, fine blond hair and never knew how lucky I was!!!

    I've had universalis for about 30 years -- so no surprises on regrowth...it's just gone!
    That's okay. I'm fine with it. I wrote a book about it, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!"
