School can be really hard on kids. You can get help at the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. Go to www.naaf.org and you can send for a free "school pack" which includes a lot of helpful information and tips for kids who are in school and need support. Included is a free video that the school can play for the students to explain alopecia. When kids understand, they're much less apt to tease and bully.
