About Me:
My hair stated thinning when I was in my 20's (now 47) I've suffered from lack of confidence in my looks for a very long time, after a very long and complicated journey including a hair replacement system I know wear a wig for work and hats at the weekend and I feel so much better. I am very open about my condition as I find talking about it has helped me meet so many others who have the condition but who think they are alone.

    how r u doin anyway, im meetin someone 2moro from this site so lookin forward to that, i have never known anyone else with alopecia so will be nice to meet and find out how they have dealt with it, x

    hiya helen, i have noticed how many people dont like others to know about their alopecia, i to have told everyone i knew it would have bn really hard for me to hide it and everyone has bn great,
    there is a support group but its in glasgow and im in edinburgh so quite a trek, but hopin to go along to the next one to see if they'll help me to start up a group in edinburgh, think it would really help me and others, x
