I have had alopecia universalis since I was 8 1/2 years old growing up in Williamstown, Massachusetts. My hair fell out again at 11 [6th grade] and again at 15 [10th grade]. After this I accepted my alopecia, until now I finally feel it just makes me very "special" and extraordinary. I am beautiful, unique, talented, and grateful to be alive! I wear a great vacuum-fit hair prosthesis.
I do live in SF. I have for 20 years.
A group of friends didn't want to wait an entire year to see each other at the NAAF Conf so somehow Medford became our spot. We had a great time. It was wonderful to see all the fall folliage and I love that Italian restaurant in the village!
