- I finally shaved on Dec 8th, 2012... I could no longer hide my hair loss as I lost a big chunk of my fringe.
I turned it into a fundraiser for Child Cancer and managed to get 25 others to shave with me! Together we raised over $11,000. I'm so proud of what we achieved and it helped to keep me focussed and not become big ball of self-pity.
Even so, it has been a difficult and emotional time, as I'm sure you all totally understand! I guess that's why I joined this group.
I'm staying strong and hoping the very little of what's left of my hair will fall out and my re-growth will continue. - Do you have alopecia?

Yeah I'm easy, either sounds good for me :) where do you work? I'm just going back to study to be an Early Childhood teacher after years of secrectarial work lol
