About Me:
I have 2 beautiful girls aged 2 and one month. My daughter Harriet aged 2 has just been diagnosed with alopecia areta and currently only has one patch of hair missing. It has taken me completely by suprise and I am scared for her future, so joined this site to help me feel more positive and understand alopecia.

    its very sad to see that happenin, and the lookin for hair to fall out is normal i dont the same altho mine fell out within 2wks so didnt really have much time to even think or stress about it,
    havin a young baby aswell u must be feelin a bit low, i really cant say how her childhood yrs will be but im sure with great friends n family she'll get thro it really well, i hope u r feelin better sn and chat to me anytime im hear to listen, catch up again sn, take care, xx

    Hi Laura, thank you for invite, i am sorry to hear you are also going through this with your daughter as i am too. it can be really hard at times not knowing what to do. this site is great very informative and always someone to talk to ,i know exactly how you are feeling. hope you and your girls are well

    Hey, thanks for the add. I was like 6 when i first got alopecia, its hard but i feel that cause i had it when i was young now i feel like its just a part of me...you start to get used to it. It must be really difficult for your 2 year old, but it can always grow in...and never show up again. It just depends and its really anoying how there is no cure. If you want to ask any questions about anything just leave me a comment:D im glad to help, speshly from like a teenage point of view :)xx
