About Me:: I am 61 years old and a grandmother to two boys and a step-grandmother to 5 boys and 2 girls. The oldest grandchild is 21 years old and the youngest is 20 months old. I teach skiing on the weekends and I am assistant ski school director at our local mountain. I play golf and outdoor train with several girls 3 mornings per week. I am President of a company which is 34 years old. As you can see I am a very active person. My husband of 19 years has been a wonderful support to me and my aloepecia. I lost all my hair 10 years ago just after my daughter got married. At first it seemed like the worse thing in the world to lose my hair but now I have learned to live with it. I wear a wig but it is mostly because otherwise people are constantly asking how you are and if the cancer is in remission. I prefer to enjoy myself without the added pressure of having to explain myself each time. Furthermore some people are genuinely interested in you and other ones just want information because they are noisy and a gossip.
