I have Alopecia Universalis..it has taken over my life. I really keep wondering if there is anything that can bring back my hair. I hear of people with regrowth and over the last few years I don't take anything to try to bring my hair back. When I did have Alopecia Areata I did everything and now I have lost hope. Hoping to hear from people and what they are doing with Alopecia Universalis .. Thank you

    Hi Barbara, It is just about a year now since i have lost all my hair to AU and so far not a new stand in sight. Sorry to not have more encouraging news. I live here in NY too but on Long Island.

    Hi Barbara, Put on eyelashes I can't even pencil eyebrows lol! I am not very good at that stuff so i think i am going to tattoo my eyebrows and as far as the eyelashes there will not be any lol! Hope you are having a snow less night. We have been snowing all day!!! I am really ready for SPRING!

    Sorry it took me so long to reply. I love my vacuum wig. I would highly recomend one ; )
    As for United Health Care, I spoke too soon. I just talked to them yesterday, and they are only giving me $500 for a $4,000 wig. I have really had it with them. Now, I have to go through my job to submit a second level appeal. ; /
