About Me:
I have had alopecia ophiasis for some 9/10 years with occasional nail loss. Consulted several dermatologists (all affiliated to NYC hospitals with specialty in hair loss). Monthly injections, squaric (?spelling) acid etc. 6 months it was finally suggested by one that although nothing more could be done, perhaps I could try a regime of Rogaine 5% and Fluocinonide 0.05 topical solution. Well - I have some new growth in areas which were considered to be 'dead'!!! Not much yet, but still. I use one or the other morning and night - e.g. Rogaine in the am and the solution at night. Why did no one tell me before now?? This is very encouraging.
