About Me:: Hi! I thought I'd give this a try, nothing to lose! I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata at age 5, and have been losing and growing back hair ever since. I've tried a whole slew of remedies, from steroids to weird diets, tissue salts to chelation therapy, all without noticeable success. Although it would be nice to have ordinary hair, I'm perfectly happy without it! I know I wouldn't have the compassion and confidence I have today without the lessons having Alopecia has taught me, so in some ways, I'm grateful. I thought it might be nice to meet some fellow "Alopecians", so here I am! :)
