hello,my names ashley i'm 16 i have alopecia i was dianosed withalopecia at the age of 7 ive loss my hair grown it abck lost it again and so on right now im starting to grow it back and i being hopefull that it will stay in.:) ive only met one person in real life that has alopecia but lets say it didnt really turn out so well...i would love to be able to talk to people like me that know what ive been thourh so talk to me!!!:)

    You are very welcome Ashley. You are one of the wonderful people on this site too don't forget.
    Also wanted to mention that I think stress does play a part in the hairloss. It is like a vicious circle.Like anything, stress brings down our resistance, then your immune system vamps up to counter act that. So you need to look after yourself - plenty of sleep, eat well, exercise and above all pamper yourself!!!!
