Greetings fellow Alopecians! I choose to look for the positive...haven't had to shave my legs for 20 + years, I have $0 costs for hair supplies, takes no time at all to get ready in the morning - throw on a hat & off I go (gave up on hair pieces years ago). Get some eyebrows and eyeliner tattoos, I love them. Wish I didn't have AU but I do so I learned how to cope, then thrive, it's a process & it wasn't easy! I REFUSE to be a victim, sure, I could stay home & cry myself silly (been there done that, it changes nothing, I am still bald). I learned that what others think about me is none of my business; if you are confident about who you are most people barely notice. It took me 35 years to get to this place but I am happy, AU has made me a stronger person. Just remember there is always something out there that is much worse than this ever could be, count your blessings and move on. I have had AA, AU since I was 15 and have tried most treatments. Please contact me if I can be of help.
