I found my first bald spot on November 24 2009....my birthday. I was diagnosed 2 days later from the doctor. As a first time find, Alopecia of any kind, is a heart stopping moment. It took a long time before I was sort of okay with it. But it still bothers me enough to cry with each new patch.
Your very welcome. How are you doing with your Alopecia> I'm doing fine now. It's been since 1975 when I lost my hair in clumps and my finger nails. My nails came back but my hair didn't. I was so mad. I wouldn't go out without my wig on. I don't. Well, nice having friends.
Hello and welcome, Christine!
I'm sorry you're having a hard time with alopecia. I know how it can be.
I even wrote a book about it called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" Let me know if I can help.

I've had universalis for about 30 years. I miss my eyelashes most of all.
