I am a working mother of 2, Hailey 8yrs and Marisa 11. Hailey has Alopecia Areata/Totalis since age 6. She is completely accepting of her condition and proud to be bald. She is actually quite funny about it, and can even poke fun at herself. (she recently asked me to buy her some shampoo while I was distracted at the store, when I looked at her, she just grinned!) She is trully an inspiration in self awareness.

    Hi Lisa, did you get my email on AW about Sept 26th. We would love to see you guys. I am also working on a new meeting space that will be a great location for everyone. I hope you can make it to a meeting sometime with Hailey. She is a great role model for some of the kids who need it. Cindy
