I have a friend who recently discussed her alopecia and how it has effected her life. She is going to be 60 and has had alopecia since she is 15. She suffers from depression due to this and has unsuccessful relationships with men due to her self-esteem. she has 2 grown children and a wonderful 2 yr. old granddaughter.
I don't discuss it with her unless she chooses to talk about it.
