59 year old retired nurse. Noticed eyebrow loss in 2011 and thus began my journey to get an accurate diagnosis. After two dermatologists and an endocrinologist coming up wth nothing, I finally researched it myself and discovered FFA. Went to a new derm and on my first visit I told her what I had. She agreed, did the biopsy, and the rest is history. I have lost all of my left eyebrow, most of my right, about 1 1/2 inches from my hairline and oddly enough almost all body hair. I found this site awhile ago but honestly, it made me sad and I stopped lurking. Now I am back, balder but braver. Hello everyone!
