hi.i am a male 45 years old from london,i have had psoriasis since i was 15 years old (body and scalp) and now i have alopecia on the back of my head,it started about 3 months ago just a very small patch but has grown in size,now about the size of my palm i also have a patch on my chin,my doctor has perscribed Dermovate scalp application and Daktacort for my chin,i have to go for a blood test on tuesday 8th may 2012 to see if i have any blood disorders...just have to wait and see now..

    hi john i am not too bad at the momment, its early days for me yet my AA started just before xmas 2011,starting with one small patch which just then merged in to a bigger patch the size of my palm,and more patches appearing in other areas,with loads of shedding.i decided to have it shaved last week,it as a big decision,but i couldent stand seeing my hair everywhere,i wear wigs permantley now, there is white growth on a lot of the patches.but i am not holding my breath.sharon :) x
