About Me:: I've survived Ovarian Cancer and as a result of the chemotherapy I am completely bald. It started growing back in patches and then gave up and all fell out, including the eyelashes and eyebrows that had grown back in. I am striving to find acceptance of my new reality but have had some very frustrating and depressing moments.
How to find a natual looking & feeling wig and ways to keep the eyebrows and eyeliner that I put on to stay. Little things like this have proven to be a continual challenge.
I'm so thankful to have made it through the chemo and am blessed by not having any further signs of the cancer but I selfishly want my hair back. The doctors all said that it should grow back. The cancer was awful but not having hair seems so much more permanent.
