About Me:: I am a widowed 60 year young woman who has had alopecia since I was 5 years old. I have 2 wonderful son's, 2 wonderful daughters-in-law and 4 fabulous grandchildren.
I believe people with alopecia have a greater sense of intuitiveness about other people & life in general. We definitely have a good sense of humor because we have had to learn to laugh off things that may bother other people.
I am blessed in my "lack" because my needs are still met however I would be SUPER blessed to meet someone to share the rest of my life with. I am an optimistic and caring person.
I am only presently "coming out" to the world about my alopecia. Dang...it is about time! I hope all my fellow baldies are learning to love themselves for who they are and avoiding the pitfalls of comparisons.
